The Fairbanks Soccer Club Women’s team wrapped up their first ever UPSL Women Alaska Division championship on Saturday, August 6th at 6:30 p.m. against AK Thorns with a 2-0 victory! The Women’s team finished the season first in the standings on 15 points with a 5-0-1 record. Congratulations to the Women’s team players and coaches on their 2022 UPSL Women Alaska Division Championship, the first women’s championship in club history!
The Fairbanks Soccer Club Men’s team played their fifth and final home game against AK Timbers on Saturday, August 6th at 4 p.m. The men’s team dominated the game and won 2-1. Skyler Denny opened the scoring on a free kick that he bent around the outside of the box and Seth Phillips scored his first ever goal for the Club on a powerful right-footed shot to win the game. The Men’s team finished third in the standings on 15 points with a 5-0-5 record.
Fairbanks Soccer Club men’s team wins 2021 UPSL Last Frontier Division Championship!
The Fairbanks Soccer Club men’s team has captured its first ever UPSL Last Frontier Division championship! The men’s team finished the 2021 season tied for first on points with Pioneer United but with a better goal differential, more goals for, less goals against, and a head-to-head advantage. Congratulations to our men’s team players and coaches for all of their efforts this season, which culminated with a 6-2 win over Pioneer United on our last home game of the season to capture the championship!
