Fairbanks Soccer Club men’s team drops first points of season away to last year’s runner up Pioneer United FC

The Fairbanks Soccer Club Men’s team dropped their first points of the season in a 3-2 away loss on May 29th against last year’s runner-up Pioneer United FC in a tightly-contested matchup at Kincaid Park Stadium Field in Anchorage. Danny Dominick struck a first-time left-footed volley into the left side of the goal on an assist from Devon Parshall for the club’s first goal. Right back Pablo Webster assisted on the second goal by forward Igor O’Rear, who rifled a shot into the top-right hand corner of the net. This was the fourth goal of the season for O’Rear, who is averaging 2 goals per game for the club so far this season.

The Fairbanks Soccer Club Women’s team will make their season debut on Saturday, June 4th against the defending UPSL Alaska women’s division champions Arctic Rush at 2 p.m. at Kincaid Park Stadium Field. At 4 p.m. the Men’s team will play their third consecutive away game of the season, against Arctic Rush, also at Kincaid Park Stadium Field in Anchorage. Fairbanks Soccer Club men’s team kicks off 2022 UPSL season with a win on the road versus MatSu United FC

On May 22nd our men’s team beat MatSu United FC 5-1. Igor O’Rear scored a hat-trick on his debut for the club, only the second hat-trick in the club’s history, while Josh Million scored a double. Jerry Okoro, Skyler Denny (2), Miguel Baeza and Igor O’Rear provided the assists.

Fairbanks Soccer Club men’s team wins 2021 UPSL Last Frontier Division Championship!

The Fairbanks Soccer Club men’s team has captured its first ever UPSL Last Frontier Division championship! The men’s team finished the 2021 season tied for first on points with Pioneer United but with a better goal differential, more goals for, less goals against, and a head-to-head advantage. Congratulations to our men’s team players and coaches for all of their efforts this season, which culminated with a 6-2 win over Pioneer United on our last home game of the season to capture the championship!
